About Candra

I’m Candra Canning, the founder of LIVE BRIGHT NOW. I’m a certified leadership coach and a master facilitator who has been coaching corporate leaders and teams to brighten their performance for over 20 years.

I earned my business degree from the University of California at Berkeley and worked as a marketing and branding executive with Fortune 500 clients such as Apple, Levi Strauss, Coca-Cola, Visa and Hewlett Packard.

I founded LIVE BRIGHT NOW when I realized my mission is to change how we get work done. Think about it. We spend so much time on the job, what happens from 9-5 inevitably shapes how we think, talk, act and feel when we’re away from our desks. When we’re energized, motivated and feel connected to a higher purpose at work, we carry those amazing feelings into the rest of our lives, too.

In this sense, bright company culture is a direct link to bright individuals and bright communities—even to a brighter world. That’s why I also help families to define and articulate their culture so they can do better and be better together.

Sharing outdoor experiences strengthens bonds and leaves us feeling connected and transformed. That’s why I developed the School of Adventure + Awe—a culture-building program that’s fully integrated into our corporate and family coaching initiatives. There’s nothing we love more than taking people out of the conference room and into the outdoors!

In my downtime, you’ll find me hiking, biking and paddling in the amazing “Backyard AWE” of the San Francisco Bay Area with family, friends and Mildred, my mini Australian Shepherd.
